Classic Re-creations
Legendary racing models such as the 911RS, the 911R, the RSR, form the racing bloodline of Porsche.
These cars are both impossible to find, and are generally too valuable to even run.
We create cars with the appearance, passion and spirit of these legendary icons, but
with practicality and usability offered by modern engineering.
This is the ultimate combination: our creations range from full
track cars, to well-mannered but feisty road vehicles with all the passion of their racing bloodline.
Below are some recent examples of our work:
914-6gt 'Marathon de la Route'
Just completed, this car has had no effort spared in developing it to the same specification as one of the
three cars built by Porsche for the 1971 Marathon de la Route event. The vehicle sports the
the decals of the number 3 car, and has a 2.2l Twin-spark engine (the original was a 2.0).
The result is stunning - a perfect track-day car with road manners. The car ran beautifully at the 9-hour revival.
Take a look at the Video of the car at this event.
356 GT 'Panamerica'
This is the car that Uncle John can be seen driving when not in the Convertible 'D'.
This immaculate recreation is faithful to the
original cars that raced in the Carrera panamerica races, including Aluminium skinned doors & hood, engine cover with louvres, and
a noisy 'stinger' exhaust to give that authentic 'bark'. Interior is immaculate, with period bucket seats and a roll hoop.
IROC racer
This was a ground-breaking project from Abbot Cars: A practical track-day car with ultra low weight due to a unique carbon-fibre roof
construction. Styled as a 1974 American Race of Champions (IROC) look-alike.
It has been built in the early 'duck-tail' configuration as delivered from Porsche. (all cars later ran huge 'tea-tray' spoilers at the rear)
Interior is spartan black, finished off with an unobtrusive roll cage and period racing seats.
