Restorations

Two classics out for a Sunday drive

We have many decade's experience in restoring classic Porsches to become immaculate concourse winners. There are many projects under our belts since we started with our passion in Porsche during the 70s. Our experience and deep knowledge of the history of these cars allows us to bring them back to perfect originality. Below are some of our recent projects.

1970 2.2 911S

The 911S at the panel shop, sporting its new Latch panel and fenders This car was a rare find: An early 'S' that had been converted into a 'G' series car with no obvious pedigree. However, a look under the surface revealed it to be a hidden gem. We have painstakingly removed the body modifications and the car is now back to its original specification and under final assembly.

1970 2.2 911T

The 'T' at the Porsche Club Concourse, in its later steel-wheel 'T' trim This project lovingly restored a sad 'T' that had suffered various abuses, including a bad respray and fibreglass fenders. The restoration was first done to 'S' trim, later 'de-tuned' to a standard steel-wheel 'T' specification. The result was a car that scooped prizes 3 years running in the South African Porsche club concours, yet remains practical enough to be a daily driver.

1958 356A Convertible 'D'

Uncle John's 'D' with it's roof up This project took over 8 years to complete, but the results are worth it! Extensive bodywork reconstruction plus the donation of body components from another car were required to resurrect this badly treated 'D' to its current state. This is Uncle John's personal car.
