Meet the Abbots

The Abbot family has a long relationship with Porsches. The passion all started with Uncle John: initially involved with Healeys, Alfas and MGs, he eventually found his home with Porsche in the 70s, and has not stopped being involved since.

Young Timothy was immersed in this environment from an early age, and started working with John, initially in the original location at 85 Bezuidenhoud st. in Johannesburg, later moving to Kyalami in 1993, to run the workshop there.

In 2003, Timo opened his own workshop in Beaulieu, just over the hill from the John Abbot Kyalami location. John, now retired (although you never would think so), spends his time helping restorations or sales in Tim's well appointed facilities.
